Zero Carbon Project is Tackling Global Climate Change using Blockchain and international carbon credits. By using a zero carbon market, you can reduce carbon emissions faster than renewable energy. Uptake of renewable energy has been slow and expensive. Suppliers of zero carbon energy can source from fossil fuels but pay a small premium to offset the carbon emissions using international carbon credits. To cover the premium to beat standard fossil fuel prices, the zero carbon market attracts a wide range of suppliers with their best zero carbon energy prices. Suppliers submit their best zero carbon energy offers, offers are compared transparently like for like. Consumers then select their preferred cheapest contract, the consumer then completes the contract directly with the energy supplier.
