이오엔(EON), 제2의 이오스(EOS) 될 것인가?^^

한·중 합작 가상화폐(암호화폐) 거래소 지닉스(Zeniex)가 오는 16일 암호화폐 ‘이오엔(EON)’을 상장한다고 13일 밝혔다.

EON은 3세대 블록체인 대표 주자인 이오스(EOS)의 취약점을 보완해 빠른 처리 속도와 높은 보안 기술을 갖춘 오픈 네트워크다. 중국의 블록체인 유명인사인 리샤오라이(Li Xiaolai)가 투자한 코인으로도 유명하다.

현재 코인더블유(CoinW), 코인노아(Coinoah) 등 해외 거래소 2곳에 공식 상장됐으며 게이트아이오(gate.io) 베타 마켓에도 상장된 상태다. 국내에서는 지닉스가 최초로 공식 상장한다.

EON은 이오스(EOS) 홀더들에게 1:1 비율로 에어드롭된 물량을 포함해 현재 10억개가 발행된 상태다. 이 중 개발팀에 배정된 토큰은 1억개로 전량 락업(보호예수)되며, 6개월마다 12.5%의 비율로 락업이 해제될 예정이다. 또한 2019년 1분기로 예정된 메인넷 론칭 이후 90억 개가 추가로 발행될 예정으로 개발팀과 투자자, 마이닝, 블록프로듀서에게 배정된다.
지닉스는 EON 상장을 기념해 에어드롭 이벤트를 진행한다. 오는 16일을 시작으로 3주 동안 8만개의 EON을 지급할 예정이다.

최경준 지닉스 대표는 “비트코인캐시(BCH)가 제2의 비트코인(BTC)으로 불리고, 이더리움 클래식(ETC)이 제2의 이더리움(ETH)으로 불렸던 것처럼 EON이 제2의 EOS가 될 것으로 봤다”며 “지난번 맺은 EON 재단과의 협약을 통해 향후 EON 생태계를 활성화시키기 위해 중국 측과 긴밀히 협업할 예정”이라고 말했다.
