Overview

Blockchain technology revolutionized multiple industries thanks to its decentralized ledger and cryptographic security features. Creative industries and intellectual property protection are some of the areas which can benefit the most since the idea is the most valuable asset of an artist and the generation and exploitation of knowledge and information is the cornerstone of their work.
Zeepin is a public blockchain project for creative industries and entertainment assets. The main goal is to boost productivity, protect assets and help development of the products while giving artists the opportunity to work in a borderless, transparent and efficient ecosystem.
Zeepin chain is powered by the Galaxy Proof of Stake consensus - low-cost, DDOS resilient and high-involvement mechanism with ZPT tokens used for the industrial circulative payments, such as copyright purchase, insurance purchase and crowdfunding. ZPT has a circulating supply of 1 billion units, 50% of which have been distributed to the community via crowdfunding. There is also a second token – Gala, acting as the functional application coin used for transactions, contract deployment and execution. It is used on the entertainment applications and distributed storage processes. Gala has a total supply of 100 billion tokens with 2 billion of them already distributed to ZPT holders.

The company allows users to manage transactions and store assets and value via their own ZeeWallet, which can also interact with the rest of the dApps in the ecosystem.

The GalaCloud

One of the most successful applications of the Zeepin chain is the GalaCloud – decentralized storage network (DESnet) which offers end users distributed storage space and service. Main components of the platform are the GalaBox and GalaHub nodes. Consumers pay in Gala tokens for storage space use and the earnings are distributed to each single node as a reward for staking.

 The GalaHub – main nodes on the GalaCloud providing distributed storage services. 20% of total revenue from storage services will be distributed to GalaHub Nodes on a weekly basis.
Zeepin started GalaHub Selection process that will run from August 8 to August 25 and will require applicants to lock 400,000 ZPTs for 18 months in order to be selected as a node-manager.
 The GalaBox - data node that obtains Gala rewards distributed through smart contracts by contributing hard disk space to store encrypted file strips-file shards. They get 70% of total revenue on weekly basis.
The remaining 10% of the revenue are for the GalaCloud Foundation.

GalaBox G1 is the mining machine for distributed encryption storage. Basically, an encrypted storage device that once acquired can join the GalaBox nodes and benefit from storage sharing services (mining through the use of a hard disk) and earn Gala. The Zeepin Foundation are distributing GalaBox units since the 8th of August through crowdfunding and they plan to issue up to 60,000 G1s in the first year. Users need to do lock-up certain amount of ZPT for 18 months to claim GalaBox G1.

Crowdfunding phases:

• Early Bird Phase: (August 8th 14:00 UTC – August 9th 14:00 UTC): Lock-up 4999 ZPT for 18 months to receive 1 GalaBox – only available for 24 hours!
• The First Phase: (August 12th 14:00 UTC – August 15th 14:00 UTC): Lock-up 5250 ZPT for 18 months to receive 1 GalaBox.
• The Second Phase: (August 16th 14:00 UTC – August 20th 14:00 UTC): Lock-up 5500 ZPT for 18 months to receive 1 GalaBox.
• The Third Phase: (August 21st 14:00 UTC – August 25th 14:00 UTC): Lock-up 5750 ZPT for 18 months to receive 1 GalaBox.

This is actually a very good way to profit and earn some tokens by sharing storage space and/or maintaining the network.

CryptoGalaxy

Cryptogalaxy is an entertainment platform built on the Zeepin blockchain. It is a virtual universe composed of multiple planets with different attributes and advantages. This encryption planet game will allow users to interact, trade and explore planets (even mine minerals on the planet using GalaBot) exchanging Gala tokens.

From August 10th to December 31st , Zeepin will be giving away 150,000 GALA daily to users holding ZPT in the CryptoGalaxy wallet.

Conclusion

A very, very interesting project with some amazing ideas. Originality flows from these guys and there are also few interesting ways to profit from the Zeeping ecosystem. Zeepin is a long term oriented project with own public chain that will be used for projects in creative industry and in blockchain gaming industry. Zeepin offers a variety of ways to lock-up (stake) ZPTs in order to get passive income rewards (GalaCloud, CryptoGalaxy).
