Yes the rumors are correct a test version of the site is being tested.
But only by a select group of people in the community the dex coin holders investors and people who have signed the NDA wanting more information on the investment of zappl.
There has been some FUD being spread around accusing Zappl of being fake and a scam which are very serious false allegations. We won't be doing any name drops. So the truth, zappl is not fake and many people are already using it and testing it out.
Many larger stake holders in STEEM have been given access as well. But have been instructed not to make any post about the alpha or release any information on it.
Were fine with them admitting they have used the beta but as for them giving links to the test alpha. Its not allowed to anyone who hasn't been given permission to see it and use it.

I'm the person that you're saying is spreading FUD, which I'm not doing. Period.
What I'm doing is asking you pressing questions and you choose not to answer them or go into further detail. You just simply tell me to sign an NDA or invest, then you will elaborate on a "business plan," but you wont elaborate on your dev team or their past work/competencies. You just told me privately that your dev team wants to stay secret, which I don't believe. You said they're free lancers and college students which are certainly people that I think would want to be known or associated with working on large scale, progressive projects. You've also told me that you pay them a practically uncapped salary, covering all living expenses in their life and pay them a large salary.
You can easily sway my opinion and public sentiment by allowing me to see what you've got going on so far/inspect it (please spare me the sign the NDA and invest in Zappl first stuff) and giving me more details on your dev team so I can make a decision on how competent I think that they are to support a long-term, large scale project such as this.
You're asking for millions of dollars in the crypto space, you need to expect criticism and pressing questions, be prepared to publicly address that, that's what CEOs do, you WILL be put on the spot a lot, don't take it offensively, it's business.
If anyone wants to send me 1 Zappl token on BitShares (currently valued at $1 USD), I will give you a 35% upvote which is worth around $5 or $6 bucks right now. According to @TheDegenSloth, if I hold a Zappl token on BitShares, I can see the site which will allow me to form an opinion on this project, which I will speak about publicly. Never once has Zappl said the people working on the project were being paid high wages. In fact we said people who are working on the project are risking their summer and are doing this project at the fraction of the cost. So once again you are spreading FUD and things that are completely untrue and unrelated.
The CEO hasn't even been paid for the work he has done. You have been told you have no stake in this project and have not signed an nda we are not required to answer your questions that we fill are private to the people who do have a stake in zappl ir hold zappl tokens.
We are fine being put o the spot but telling complete lies and making up complete fabricated stories is uncalled for. At this point you already called are project a scam with out any proof which is defamation of character to anyone who is involved.
As you have stated before you were going to buy the dex coins and choose not to that is your fault not ours. Zappl is a privately owned company not an ico or crypto currency. We have provided all the proof investors require you choose not to sign the nda, if that's the case you choose to wait til launch for your answers.
Also even if you have access its not permitted for public display, so you can form your opinion but if you attempt to post the alpha you will be blocked. Anyone who has access to the alpha was given pretty clear rules if you can't abide by those rules you won't be given access dex coin holder or not.
Actually @TheDegenSloth (you I think) said on SteemSpeak voice chat that you pay all living expenses of your employees and a high wage. You did say that. Sorry man, but you're blatantly lying at this point :-/.

I chose not to buy any Zappl because I can't get the questions that I want answered, answered. To invest in something you can't properly assess is the definition of a bad investment. Please tell me otherwise.

Defamation of character isn't petty. You need to provide evidence of what you are accusing the team of and the members who are actually supporting it of doing. This at the very least you can do. You are the top comment on numerous posts making this "scam" claim.
TBH, doesn't seem like there's much of an attempt at "defamation of character" on @matt-a part.. he's asking questions and advising about the risk because of those unanswered questions. I'll look over this again
I'm not claiming scam. I said that I'm getting that impression without my concerns being addressed. I'm not trying to trash y'all. I'm just pressing for info. You guys are taking this out of context. I'm hassling to get info. I've consistently inquired for a few months now and my inquiries have been overlooked. I want to be able to speak highly of you guys and see good dev work, but no one can really do that without knowing who's behind the scenes and what they're capable of.

My "accusations," are QUESTIONS. Questions that remain unanswered that make me extremely skeptical especially when millions of dollars are involved.
Again, I am not crying scam. I said that this is sketching me out and is smelling a bit scammy (it DOES) because nobody knows anything whatsoever about who is developing this self-proclaimed $12 Million dollar business venture that is asking THIS very community for millions of dollars.
I'm practically begging to have my concerns remedied which can be done with ease, but Zappl refuses to fill me in on what their dev team is capable of. As I've said many times now, I want this project to be killer. I want to have faith in it. I was very seriously considering a large investment. You can't NOT expect people to take you with a grain of salt if they don't know who's behind the curtains . . .
Good luck to you guys, hopefully you'll work with your dev team to come out of the woodwork, instill trust in your potential investors, and get fully funded.
Despite the actions of one of these people involved in zapple.. I've been excited about the project they are developing.. a better version of @picokernel (nate) original idea... this defamation of character or whatever is what puzzles me.. maybe we can figure a resolution and/ or a better explanation.. this is news to me so I'm not entirely sure what to think about all this. The personal attacks and attacks on credibility isn't necessary from anyone.
I have access to the Alpha release. It is awesome. A few things that need some polishing but nothing major.

Yes I see.. Personally, when people are so elusive I'm very careful and usually don't trust them with my money.. So I believe you are right to ask questions and everyone should.. and if they say: "I can't tell you", then my advice is: run away.. especially in this world of blockchain and public informations

I wish this project (and all projects for that matter) nothing but the best. I've been poking at their MVP a bit now and she has quite a ways to go, but that's the nature of alpha, identifying and addressing the kinks.
But I can say scaffolding does exist and a front-end is certainly in progress.

My tone isn't hostile at all. I got a bit pressing and direct after having my questions/concerns ignored for a couple of months, but that was in order to garner a response, which worked. No hard feelings on my part at all. I want to see awesome stuff happen, it's good for everyone.

Not really. if you have a solid project.. accusations and concerns shouldn't bother you at all. The fire dies out when you have a product.
Well Zappl has provided images video proofs and live streams to prove it works and has done so the whole project. So not sure where the whole vaporware thing came from.
Its a good piece of Information. My friend was also asking that is @zappl is fake or what? so I am going to resteem it so what others who have some questions about may have a look that its not fake..
