Life has a way of turning around at times
Picture I took in downtown Montreal... Always loved this spot.
I wanted to share with y'all a little story about how things have been going the past few weeks for me and just share a little about how life has its own peculiar way of turning around at times.
I joined steemit at the end of July with no real goal in mind except maybe making a few bucks as at the time, I was jobless and was kind of in a spot where things had hit an all time high and sunk me right back to a big low.
Damn rollercoaster of life
Meeting the community on steemit was super fun and they were so helpful I got into cryptos and actually started earning money from the last 10$ I had in trading account.
Crazy ride it is. I was suprised at how relatively simple it is once you understood the process of how cryptos worked from the block chain to mining to trading it.
I actually managed to turn that 10$ into over 70$ in a period of two weeks all the while job hunting and such. Crazy... Steemit contributed partly but most of it was from trading and a little from the mining scene.
Now, even with that, obviously 70$ wasn't going to get me real far and I don't think it really gets anyone anywhere really except maybe you know... 1 fancy fucking meal, maybe a decent grocery shopping spree, or you know 210 packs of instant noodles ?
Well good thing I wasn't actually that broke but I used to be at some point in my life but anyways.
It was a crazy ride for someone who was jobless especially considering ive never been able to double any amount I ever had whether it be 100 or 1000$ but somehow I managed to do it with 10$...
Shocked was my expression if I am to be honest.
With my GAINZZZ and such, I had found a new outlet to really let me try my best while job hunting which kept me busy and before I knew it I ended up getting a job.
Its an alright job but what I love the most about it is that for the first time in years, literally years. I didn't have to answer phone calls 8 hours a day from angry fucking people about some service I gave no shits about.
It was the only experience I had so customer service like jobs were really all I ever got but things really changed as now for once, I don't have to deal with people over the phone at all which to me is amazing.
I can tell them to fuck off in person now.. SO EXCITING
ahaha jokes aside, it was really a weird three weeks for me going from a high to a big low and steadily climbing my way back up.
Even more suprising was that with this newfound attitude of mine, that I could definitely start climbing my way back up. Things started changing.
Today was another great example
I bike every day to my new job since its relatively close and I don't own a car but my bike was really worn down and pretty shit if I were to describe it. Tires were out of shape, couldn't hold air for longer than a few hours. Frame being way too small and the entire thing being covered in rust as I was always using public transport before and never really used it.
Best part. It took 3 times the strength it takes to push a normal bike because the chains and everything were crap. Literal crap.
You would think oil it and it'll be fine... well let me tell you, it would of literally just turned into an oily piece of crap. Nothing more.
Now this is where it gets good. I had seen this bike near the lake that I bike past every day. Weird thing is this bike was there for the past few days since I started this new job.. I was like nah, I don't want to look like a thief, someone probably just forgot it.
Few days later. That bitch was still there! So out of curiosity I decided why not. It can't be any worse than what I have right now. I'll take a look.
I circled it like the vulture I was in the moment with my current bike which looking back felt pretty stupid as I could of just got off and inspected the damn thing..
To my surprise, it was a brand new bike practically. The paint was still relatively new like this year or last and was in great condition. I wondered why it was just left there and it turned out that the gears and all that were pretty messed up and the back wheel was a little crooked.
I was like whaaat? That's it? I copped that bike faster than a gazelle.
Though It felt just right because there was charity bike shop nearby so I donated my old junk bike for repair and resale as the revenue would be sent to a charity for special needs people. Took the new one home and fixed her up the past few hours.
Really made me realize that life can really turn around when you give it a chance and don't get too fixated on the lows you hit.
Here's a pic of the new bike and hope you all liked my little story.
And pro tip to all new steemians. Take the advice you get from other steemians sometimes as spamming this website isn't really going to produce much for anyone.
Good luck to all and I wanted to give a shoutout to everyone who has been helping me out whether with tips or just by being there to talk with. No specific order.

I know there are many more people i've met and interact with but these were the first few that I met and that made the experience all the better so thank you to everyone I mention and to everyone I've met along the way :)
Life is a crazy roller coaster ride, and when it rains it pours. Being that we are on a roller coaster we usually don't have an umbrella, but there is no use in life walking around with an umbrella waiting for it to rain.
lol 😉
I'm happy to hear you have found some enjoyment in your new job. It's a grind out there, but now just think, you are about to have a lot more money to trade with lol.
I'm glad to have met you when you joined, we almost instantly connected on a different level.
I'm looking forward to seeing you when you visit Cleveland next.
Ehehe Definitely excited for my next visit to cleveland! Also you read my mind, with all that extra cash rolling in I might just go crazy on gear xD
Gotta go crazy...
