Personally, I've been enjoying the season .... not sure what other people are 'disappointed' in. The 'issues' pointed out, aren't real issues. It's just people not getting 'their way'. The audience is so 'entitled' .... that being said; should have been 10 seasons; 10 shows each; if D&D had to leave; HBO should've let them go; and used other directors to finish it off. Then we would've had more 'time' for several plots to develop; possibly even a couple more book characters too. (But, this is GRRM's ending; we need to keep that in mind)
(she only lost 'half' of her armies; as we saw in Episode 5)
I do agree more people should have died in the Long Night battle though; Sam should've run down to the crypts; Ghost should've been in the crypts; should have considered the 'dead rising' - in the crypts - the dothraki charge and unsullied positions made no sense; def agree the battle plan wasn't 'that good' --- can blame that also; on 6 shows over 10
