Alec Steele is a young blacksmith who loves the camera, not to mention making his videos look sleek and smooth.

• Hammer blows are timed on screen to match the background music.
• He's always excited on camera, and he tells you how excited he is.
• You see his failures and his successes.
• For the most part, it's a family friendly show.
• Lots and lots of hammering. Power hammers and hand hammers.

His channel shows him creating a variety of forged items from knives to axes to hinges to golf clubs. Recently each piece has been ornate and the creation process takes place over a series of 10-20min videos, at a rate of approximately 1 video per day. He has recently hired a videographer to help him up the level of his visuals even more.

• I've never been bored watching this man's videos.

The good:
Everything I already said.

The bad:

• He's always excited on camera, and he tells you how excited he is,
• I remember that in some videos, he has had voice audio that didn't match the volume of the music from other shots. This led to some manual volume sliding on my part. I don't recall this being a problem recently though, so this may have been fixed with the addition of the videographer.
• There's occasionally a word that slips out of his mouth that parents might not want their children hearing.
