BRING HOPE TO THE CANCER CHILDREN OF EVERLASTING HOPE CENTRE

This is my second post, first post is here 

In celebration of Everlasting HOPE's two year anniversary, they are outsourcing for volunteers to participate in their GIVEBACK day . Volunteering to this cause  would mean sparing a few hours of July 07,2018  in making improvements around the Everlasting HOPE Center through painting, yard work, cleaning and more. They  are also looking for volunteers who wish to participate in interactive activities with the kids on this day. They also need financial donations.

Brief Background about Everlasting Hope

 Its a home that provides shelter for Children battling cancer, in Cebu city,The families that fall under their care are those less privileged  families that have children suffering from cancer and travel all the way  to Cebu city from far away provinces for treatment . Since cancer treatment  as we all may know accounts  for a very long period of time,  the  Everlasting HOPE Cebu provides a clean and conducive home for these  families, at least to take away  the extra burden and expenses of  accommodation for these families and their sick children. 

Here are the major needs that will be needed on the Giveback day. 

 1) Volunteers to do preparation work on July 5 and 6. 2) 30 Gallons of Paint and Paint Supplies 3) Volunteers to give of their time through painting, yard work, cleaning, minor repairs (limited space - sign up right away)  4) Volunteers to conduct interactive art activities with the kids  through making thank you cards and hand prints (limited space). 5) Individuals willing to provide snacks, food, and beverages throughout the day. 

  Major Needs of the Center 

 1) Two split-type inverter air conditioners (3 HP) 2) Four window-type inverter air conditioners (1-2 HP) 3) Plastic chairs (large, kid size, and stools) 4) Folding tables 5) Large outdoor party tents 6) Large rice cooker 7) Large pots and pans 

Play Toys for the Center: 

1) Table Tennis 2) Basket Ball Hoop (Adjustable height) 3) Children's Indoor and/or Outdoor Play Set 4) Children Bikes 

Supplies for the Center: 

1) Toiletries, hand soap, hand sanitizer, dish soap, sponges, kitchen towels, laundry soap 2) Food: rice, fruits, vegetables, eggs, powdered milk 3) Children's Multi-Vitamins, Vitamin-C, B-Complex (Polynerve) 4) Children's Paracetamol and Pain Relievers 

Time Table of Events

 Event Preparation (1pm - 3pm, July 6)
Cleaning and yard work (8am - 1pm, July 7)
Interactive Art Activity (1pm - 4pm, July 7)
Painting Center (General Painting - July 11-20)
Painting Center and Outside Walls (Art Murals - July 11-20)

Things to bring:
-Your own cleaning tool(s) like buckets, brush, rags, broom, etc.
- Your own gardening tool(s)
- Extra shirts, towels, face mask
- Own water tumbler/ bottle 

My Personal Plan towards this event.

July 4th will be my  Birthday. Last year, i gathered donations via my close family members and friends and celebrated my birthday with the beautiful children in this center. I was only able to cater for few children, here are some of the photos from my birthday last year.

 its on this event that i got the pleasure of meeting @bellatravelph and its around the same time that i found out about steemit.  T0 celebrate my birthday this year, I will be volunteering to work  for the improvements of the center on July 7. I would also love to  participate in contribution towards the items needed by the center. Steemit is my only source of fundraiser platform i am doing this  time. Any amount towards this cause will be accounted for.  Any steemians in Cebu city who would like to participate in volunteering on that day, let me know so we can coordinate together. 

so far, i only have @gratefulayn willing to volunteer,i urge and encourage more people to show up to volunteer.

Target amount is  Php  30,000 ($561)to purchase some of the major needs of the center.
