In many cases, the force and consequences of anger are so intense that they can literally destroy years of efforts.

Could anger ever be a good thing?

Getting angry because you failed at something won’t turn things around.

So, anger is not a good thing, because, by using peaceful methods, one can be much more effective.

Anger is a destructive, negative, and usually pointless, force, and by practicing yoga, there are two ways to fight the paralyzing and irrational power of anger:

1) You can get daily yoga practice with anger-targeted exercises and poses. In this way, the body, the mind, and the soul become better prepared to fight the insidious enemy of anger for longer periods of time, as a result of regular exercise.

2) You can learn how to handle anger effectively, and fight it as soon as you experience it, through meditation and breathing techniques.

Both methods can be combined for optimum results.

Finally, no matter what Yoga poses you choose to assist you in your personal anger-fighting journey, you should not hold anger inside you, believing that it will subside with time.

Repressed anger can become a ticking bomb, and when it explodes ,its force will be even greater than that of impulsive, instantaneous anger.

You can just try to let it go peacefully through the healing methods of Yoga.
