RE: Programmatic Approach to Create Yoga Sequences for Specific Bodily Conditions
Yoga isn't made either, the rishis were beyond the gunas. Lets look at śloka 30 of the samadhi pada chapter of the yoga sutras of Patañjali:
1.30. व्याधि स्त्यान संशय प्रमादालस्याविरति भ्रान्तिदर्शनालब्धभूमिकत्वानवस्थितत्वानि चित्तविक्षेपाः ते अन्तरायाः
Vyādhistyānasaṃśayapramādālasyāviratibhrānti-darśanālabdhabhūmikatvānavasthitatvāni chittavikṣepāste'ntarāyāḥ
Disease, dullness, doubt, procrastination, laziness, craving, erroneous perception, inability to achieve finer stages and instability are the obstacles.
These are nine obstacles on the path of yoga, vyādhi, meaning disease and ālasya, meaning slothfulness.
Taking into account the holistic nature of yoga, seen in this context, you can't practice yoga if you are sick or physically inactive. But you are right, the aim is mokṣa, freedom from saṃsāra, the cycle of death and rebirth.
