Yoga is an art of living and a practice of improving your life in various ways which include physical, mental and some spiritual practices. A regular practice of yoga can dramatically improve the flexibility of our body and in return improves our cardio and circulatory health. It improves the energy levels of our body with a sound metabolism and vitality. the problems related with obesity and overweight can be easily solved by regular practice of yoga at home. The immunity levels are increased which helps fight against many life-threatening diseases as well.

Types of Yoga

basically, yoga is an art practiced in ancient India and there are more than 100 various postures involved in yoga but in this post, I will discuss only a few of them which are of most essential.

1. Surya Namaskar

This asana or posture is practiced in the peak hours of the morning and is generally done facing the sun.

2. Dhanurasana

This posture is done using our hand and legs creating a bow like posture. It helps in curbing excessive fats stored in our belly region. But If a person is suffering from spinal cord or disc problems, then he/she should avoid this posture.

3. Chakrasana

This posture is done by bending your entire body towards backward. This posture gives a good amount of flexibility to the spine.

4. Kapalbhati pranayama

This posture is known to as the best breathing exercises and helps in removing toxins from our body and brain. it improves our immunity progressively.

5. Bhujangasana

This is a posture similiar to a cobra raising its head from the front. This posture simulates our urinary, digestive and reproductive system very effectively. It is also called as back-bending posture.
