Naftilos Yacht

Yacht design is a matter of perspective and influence. A mega yacht doesn't necessarily mean a lack of sleek lines.

"Naftilos" is my latest inspiration. It is an example of how a 130m. vessel can look elegant. With great emphasis on detail, this Yacht is what a Mega Yacht owner would ask for.

It can host 2 helicopters in its 2 helipads placed on the higher deck and bow while at the same time, 2 large pools can be found in the aft and bow. It can also host 24 guests, 12 of whom can enjoy the super-lux VIP suites. The owner has his personal swimming pool and jacuzzi right in front of his suite.

The notion of the vessel came up by mixing some special characteristics of Italian Shipyard "Fincantieri"'s masterpieces "Serene" and "Ocean Victory". The hull is blue as it helps the Yacht blend in its natural environment; The ocean.

The name of the Yacht is mainly inspired by its slikness as well as the emphasis on arcs. Both the hull and the superstructure have many curves making it look slim, discreet and beautiful. The above definitely describe a Nautilus Shell. Also, in the higher deck, one can notice the beautiful blue arc which mainly depicts the "body" of the Nautilus Shell but at the same time supports some of the yacht's radars.
