What does the IMB adoption of Stellar mean for the coin?

I would like to think that IBM's adoption of Stellar is a huge sign of value for the currency but I'm not so sure. It seems to be the case that these banks either have the option to use self made stable coins or Lumens. Would it make more sense for a bank to use the Lumans or design their own stable currencies? What effect do you think this will have on the value of Lumans and development of Stellar itself?
