RE: If it looks like a cult, and acts like one, it is one, extinction rebellion!

"Our bee population is being threatened by extreme weather and habitat destruction, bringing with it crop instability and food vulnerability."

Some scientist believe the harm to bees may actually be from cell phone tower radiation...but blaming it on climate still excuses their behavior of buying even stronger cell phones. That's the whole problem with these kids they act without thinking. They've been disrupting stuff here to but you know come Christmas most the presents under the tree will more than likely come from places they had to travel thousands of miles to get to them produced in countries under slave labor conditions with the worst pollution records in the world then when the holiday is over they'll hop a plane and go down to Florida for a two week winter break. They all look at their own governments, that's fine as it does tend to bring awareness but what they fail to address is for every regulation they place on themselves it makes it harder for them to compete against the worst polluters who'll keep producing products to ship halfway across the world while increasing not deceasing their emissions. You can put on all the regulations in the world but it's not going to save the world if emission is really at fault here, there's compelling evidence that it is not. What these kids need to do is boycott these countries who are the worst producers because unlike their counterparts in those countries who wouldn't be allowed to protest they need to stand up and be their protest by boycotting products made there until changes are undertaken.

I love my kids and the younger generation, but their reasoning doesn't always make the most sense. Blaming the older generations for the predicament we're in, while refusing to give up the very luxuries we never even had. Heck, I used public transport until my late teens, then a motorbike into my 20s to get around, but that's too hard for teens now. Public transport takes too long, they want to go everywhere in a car while they preach the use of public transport to save the planet.

For this scenario there's no better words spoken. Well said.

Going to do a whole post dedicated to this subject soon, not today, maybe tomorrow.
