XMax- Build your own blockchain games
I like playing games like many others do and as of now I tried all different platforms like PlayStation Network, Xbox, and I also like to play online or mobile games. But, after some time I am losing interest in playing these games and I always feel that there is lack of variety. One common problem I see is that only a few companies are developing games and they are selling these games at very high cost.
I feel it’s time now where new developers should start developing games, should bring a new idea, concept, should give new gaming experience to the user. There are approx. 2.2 Billion gamers around the world and this international game industry generated approx. $110 Billion in 2017 and its expected to grow to $130 Billion by 2020 and it may hit $200 Billion by 2022.
Even though this gaming industry is huge, I don’t see a huge number of new developers entering into this business or at least not giving enough try or visible contribution. The reason could be that current technology which is in use for developing the game and entertainment app require big infra, tool and need lots of efforts and time.
Blockchain technology is the future for the gaming & entertainment industry but it’s in a start-up stage where developers and enterprises face many challenges in creating decentralized applications (DAPPs). These challenges include the difficulty of learning blockchain programming logic and the technical limitations of current blockchains.
But what if I tell you that there is a blockchain based decentralized platform which will provide a variety of tools for DAPPs creation including social apps and online games?

I'm amazed at what this project its offering, its just too good to be true and the good part is, i don't need to be a programmer to make use of it
That is the part that thrills me the most. You can actually start off your programming journey on the platform without prior knowledge of programming.
The whole process is simplified so even those with little knowledge about development are able to try out and create something meaningful.
I wonder if Xmax SDK will be free and accessable to everybody or there will be limited access for it. Under what license is it planned to be released?
I think there will be tokens for that. With these you pay for the various services that Xmax offers.

May be it will be several types of licensies depending on your goal and money raised with your application. Something like Unity type of distribution.

That is a great way to kick start the platform; If you look at the site they have even released v 1 so I assume they have past the beta.
It's not going to be AAA style templates like call of duty etc.. So it's not going to make development a brain dead job.
True; not all type of games are suitable for the blockchain I would imagine the AAA lagging massively. I think we could see a breakthrough sometime though I mean we could see a real time blockchain transactions.
Think games like Cryptokitties or the standard Poker games we see alot of, id be surprised if we saw a game like a console would have.
