Parrots  

General

Parrots are birds, found in most tropical and subtropical regions. They are very colourful and there are several hundred types of parrots.

Feeding

As pets, they eat commercial seed mixtures, fresh water, fresh vegetables and fruits. In the wild they eat flowers, small animals and fruits.

Housing

You want a parrot as a pet? No problem you should only give him a cage that is big enough and you have to expect that they can be very loud (especially in the morning). The cage should be so big that the bird can fly even small distances. They can be a nice pet for teenagers and adults, but not for small children.
