The Road to WrestleMania Is Under way

With bags under my eyes, we are a few hours on the heels of the Royal Rumble.
The News that Broke hours before the rumble, was The winners of the Rumble Matches Could choose Which Brands Title they went for at the Grandest Stage of them all WrestleMania.

With that being said Let's see how my predictions panned out.

First of all the Rumble Matches, and with many returns

The Hurricane made an appearance in the Mens Rumble

Along with 619 himself Rey Mysterio.

Dolph Zigler Also returned to the Rumble Match

What I didn't understand was The Bar and Seth Rollins was In the Rumble also and seeing as the Men's Rumble Happened before the Raw Tag Match, I found this confusing

We also had a couple of NXT Superstars Join in the Fun

NXT Champ Andrade “Cien” Almas
And Adam Cole

I would have like to see a couple more NXT Stars in the Rumble Like Fish and O'riley and Alister Black which would have covered Sheamus Cesaro and Rolins.

All in all, it was a pretty decent Rumble Match and as predicted in my previous Post Nakamura was the last man Standing and The Dream match is made for WrestleMania

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura

In the Women's Rumble

We saw

Lita
Trish Stratus
Molly Holly
Beth Pheonix
Vicky Guerrero
Kelly Kelly
Torrie Wilson
and Both the Bellas

From what I can remember on the top of my head

Along with NXT Superstar Amber Moon

I actually did enjoy the commentary provided by Stephanie McMahon during this Match on occasions she sounded more excited than the Fans.

Has predicted Auska Won the First Women's, Royal Rumble

She was a hot Favorite all over social Media Pre Rumble and this is the one I felt the most confident I felt.
However, we did not find out which Title Auska was going for as this got a little "Rousey" That is right as in Ronda Rousey. Looking very excited to be there also Making it Clear she was firmly on the Road to WrestleMania.

However, I am not getting too excited about any in-ring action as for the last few years WrestleMania have had Hosts.

No, she was not in the Rumble Match But as Predicted She Was at the Royal Rumble.

The Raw Tag Champs

As Predicted The Bar Went over with Jason Jordan Getting "Injured" Minutes into the Match leaving Seth Rollins to do all the work.

Granted Jordan did tag himself in To give Rollins a Much deserved Break, only to instantly Tag himself Back out a second or two later.

The Uso's and Benjamin and Gable

I got this Part right The Match did end in a Fast What just happened Pinfall, However, it was the Uso's that prevailed 2-0 in the 2 out of three falls Match up So even though I got the result Wrong. I said 2-1 to Benjamin ad Gable. I am taking the ending Just to save face.

(Hey My predictions My Rules)

One that I will hold my hands up to is

AJ Styles Vs Owens and Zayn

I really expected Shane and Bryan to be involved in this match somewhere but they didn't.
And AJ Styles Ended up Pinning Owens to retain the WWE Championship.

Which made Sence when we got the result of the Men's Rumble.

Owen's and Zayn's night was not over though as During the Men's Rumble They attacked Entrant Number 10, The Perfect 10 Ty Dillinger and Zayn Unofficially took his place. Only to be eliminated later on.

So all is Good.

Then there was The Universal Title Match

Where for some Reason WWE did it again Brock "Freakin" Lesner gets Dominated in the weeks during the run-up to The Rumble Just to go Over at the PPV I Don't get it He has had the title (if a title match is NOT booked for elimination Chamber) for over 12 months when Mania arrives.

However, Lesner Pinned Kane He Never Pinned Strowman. I don't think we will see a one on one match at Elimination Chamber But I do think we will see that match a Mania as it is around Mania time when Lesner's contract is up with WWE

I wish WWE would bring back the 30-day title defense Rule because giving the title to a Part-Timer Got boring a Long Time Ago. Brock Lesnar can still be a special attraction without the Main Title.

In Conclusion

It was a Very interesting PPV and Kicked off the road to WrestleMania with plenty of Open doors for Match build up's. So here is to the season in WWE where there is Lots of pointing to the Wrestlemania sign

and it will be interesting to find out if the returning superstars Are here for a while or just a one-match deal. and also to find out what Rousey's role will be in Mania
