Jeff Hardy Has Successful Return
Jeff Hardy has had a very successful and long career as a professional wrestler. He is basically a walking "Highlight Reel." When his music hits, the crowd literally goes wild. Unfortunately during these Covid-19 times, there is no crowd to go wild. However, I am sure this past weekend living room floors were littered with fallen popcorn and overturned furniture from his return. It is no secret that Jeff has had some struggles with illegal substances. Also, like most wrestlers, he has experienced some serious injuries.
As the Hardy Boyz, Jeff and his brother Matt has created many memories for the professional wrestling fan. They had to have had the greatest Tables, Ladders and Chairs Matches in history when they tore the ring up with Edge and Christian and the Dudley Boyz. Devon didn't have to be told to get the tables, because they were already there! Jeff played Brother Nero to Matt's broken character during their stint in TNA. There is nothing more beautiful than watching Jeff Hardy pull off a Swanton from a 20 foot high ladder.
Recently, Jeff Hardy returned to the WWE as a more healthy and drug-free person. The question was how much ring rust was going to be coming with him. His athleticism was on display at the Money In The Bank Kickoff Show Sunday night. An empty arena can be an even more dangerous place for the Charismatic Enigma. His opponent was definitely no walk in the park. Cesaro is probably pound for pound the strongest wrestler in the company. I am sure that Cesaro was sick of hearing about Hardy's comeback to the WWE from the announcers, as we know a former mohawked wrestler and still potent Celtic Warrior was.
Hardy took a beating at the beginning of the match, but it wasn't long before the action made it outside the ring. Jeff utilized most of his playbook in the match showing off the Twist Of Fate and Whisper In The Wind moves. However, it was a Swanton Bomb off the top rope that finally put away Cesaro. Jeff, this is one fan that is ecstatic to have you back!
