Depending on how you look at it it could have to sides. I think it has to do a lot with what kind of person you are. If you are the "so called" conspiracy types of guy (in fact, the person that really sees some of the things that are really happening in the world and it doesn't chooses to be blind, in my opinion) then you maybe have a chance to have a better understanding of things. But if you choose not to see some true facts, you will risk to remain naive and innocent, and you will get disappointed a lot of the times.
