My crazy experience in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2017

Can you win the World Series Of Poker? Do you need to be a PRO to beat everyone else...?

I went to to work today and like everyday I stopped at the gas station by my house in Las Vegas to buy a cold sweet tea.
Got to work around 9AM , today was so slow that our store didn't make any sale.
My boss told me to go home early.

On the way back home a billboard sign reminded me that the WSOP started a week ago .
I'm driving home and that deep red and black billboard sign got me thinking...If I didn't make money at work today maybe I
should try my luck once at the WSOP Tournament ...-I changed direction and went straight to the RIO HOTEL.

I am not A PRO poker player and not even close to it .
My poker history is playing once in a while with friends or cash games at the casino on a 1/2 No limit small games .

After asking around how to join a tournament , I decided to join a $235 buy-in with 1700 players tournament that was the cheapest one.
Tournament starts in 25 minutes so I went to eat something small thinking to myself I will probably play between 4-5 hours
now so I don't want to be full .

I'm sitting at the table with people from all over the world and in all ages , everyone's serious and ready.

Tournament starting now! says the dealer.

In the first 4 hours I got pretty good hands that helped me to accumulate more chips.
After I changed few tables, I realized that I just played poker for over 8 hours. Thing that I never imagined I will do .
Changing another table i'm looking at my phone and see that it has been 10 hours since I started to play , but I was so energetic and focused.
I came back to the room and they announce only 50 players left.
At that moment I couldn't believe i'm still here. from 1700 players to 50 players left? I was shocked .

You probably want to know what happened in the end of the story .........

Well , I WON THE TOURNAMENT! AFTER 12 HOURS I TOOK THE TOURNAMENT AND $33,000.
Everyone was jumping on me , people that I don't know took pictures with me , I was in another zone...
I couldn't believe to what happened to me today .

I went to get my money with the staff , and after tax reduction I got $22,000 in cash .

It's 3AM . I'm driving home exhausted but happy like I was never before and all I can think about is that black and red Billboard that had me thinking about going to play poker .
