Throughout the years, science and technology went hand in hand with human development, as human needs grew, we were immersed in the search for solutions to our needs.

As we all know, the first printers created were used to satisfy our printing needs, and then the printing of plastic and then metallic objects, the latter two in what we call 3D for three-dimensional objects.

Now we know that over the years the human population is increasing and with it their needs, one of those is that, there are not enough organs to transplant and cover the needs of the people, there is too much population that needs human organs, That is why the field of regenerative medicine appears on the scene.

One of the most current and innovative uses in 3D printing, is a team called Modern Meadow, where a third-dimensional bioprinter is used, filled with stem cells, extracted from animals by means of a biopsy. These cells are able to reproduce easily and once this process occurs, they are placed in a biocartridge, then printing raw meat. Well I remember that in 2014 the Russian researchers announced that they would have the first kidney in 3D by 2018 and the United States scientists who would have the first human heart in the year 2025.

It is also worth noting that in 2014 an American company took to space the first 3D machine capable of reproducing metal parts, which was a success for that time, producing a piece that they needed to repair a piece of equipment on the space shuttle.

Today I have this great news The Russian scientists designed a 3D machine to print human organs which will be taken and tested in space at a satellite station along with 2 scientists, who will be responsible for performing this test.

Why this 3D printing machine will be tested in space?

This machine needs that the stem cells with which it is going to work remain in the air during its process can not touch the bottom of the machine because they can be contaminated this happens by the gravity of the earth, instead in the space the gravity is zero and allow the cells to remain floating and away from the bottom avoiding contamination.

Let us hope then that the need of human beings to replace organs is satisfied with the advance of technology.

Organ transplants save lives but the waiting list is very long, and if there is a way to reproduce organs that you think about

Considering medical advances we will worry less about health and enjoy more of the good things in life.
