CAMEROON IN TEARS

I am a nation just like any other blessed by the creator. I am endowed with riches beyond measure but still i can hear the cry of my people filled with unsatisfaction and curses. They cry day and night, saying why was I born in Africa, to be precise Cameroon.
I am Africa in miniature, for i offer all the diversity of Africa in climate, culture and geography. I exhibit natural resources in timber, oil, gas, phosphate, iron ore, manganese, diamond etc.
With all these endowment my people are unsatisfied they call me a poor nation. Emigration is the order of the day as they go in search of greener pasture. I am like a woman who is undermined and abandoned by her husband.
My caretakers are selfish and covetous, they don’t have love for the present and future generation. The idea of change and amelioration irritates them. They boast in chants “Cameroon belongs to us. We rule and control this land” while the masses are in perpetual darkness.
I my exploited? The answer is yes.
Many from the outside envy my endowment but i’m in the hands of wrong caretakers. Should I swallow them up for the benefit of the masses? For I’m a mother how can I do such to my own.
I need help.
