An error was made in the April 2013 issue of Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. On page 251, the article “Concomitant Osteomyelitis and Avascular Necrosis of the Talus Treated with Talectomy and Tibiocalcaneal Arthrodesis” by Drs. John J. Stapleton and Thomas Zhonis was printed with the wrong abstract.

In Latin, the word ERRATUM is singular and its plural form is errata. In English, this distinction is maintained. It is therefore incorrect to use errata as a singular, as in it was not intended to print an errata. Similarly, it is wrong to create the form erratas as the plural: to check out the erratas of the book should be to check out the errata of the book.
