Plan of Action
After chatting with a friend, a reasonable plan has been put in place:
- Friend sent me a cracked version of Focus (app that blocks certain websites)
- Break down late assignments from last semester - Essay is 3 pgs (750 words), Fiction Work is 8-10pgs (2000-2500 words) (due March 9th)
- I set up a schedule for a 4 days of the week: Monday/Thursday 9am-2pm, Friday 9am-12pm, Saturday 9am-12pm
- Gave said friend access to my computer, locked in Focus preferences with a password which won't be changed until I'm done with work, or until I complete everything and send it to him to have another pair of eyes to edit/revise (hrs can be changed if I'm feeling stressed)
- Write even 200 words of fiction, 100 words for the essay > should be done way earlier than its due giving me time to edit/revise
- Establish a habit of not being on certain websites (Twitter/FB/YouTube/Twitch) with Focus and use them as rewards rather than veg out on them
- Read at least an 45-60 mins/weekday
- Take in information for changing habits/behaviors/procrastination
