I read but I don't always comment.
Actually I'd be happy if comments would go away on the internet.
Usually the opinion of the author is enough for me.
If I'm listening to a talk show I turn off as soon as people call in.
Not to be snobbish, but usually the people who comment or call in to shows to express their opinion are the very people who should keep their opinions to themselves.
Obviously by commenting I'm displaying that I should be one of those people who keeps his comments to himself.
I hope my throwing myself in with the great unwashed masses doesn't diminish the fact that I enjoy your writing.
