The secret of Life...
Once upon a time there was a young man who was searching for the secret of life. He searched and searched, but he did not find it. What he found, however, was a crowd of people who, like him, sought the secret of life. He felt better, because he knew he was not alone.
Then one day one of the seekers heard of a master who was to have the secret of life. So they all made a journey to this Master and asked, "Master, do you have the secret of life?"
The master nodded.
Then they besieged him: "Master, tell us, please."
The Master shook his head.
The seekers asked, "But why not, Master?"
He replied, "Because it would not be a secret anymore!"
But the seekers stayed with him and cared for him, read him every wish from the eyes.
The rumor went around that Master wrote down the secret of life on a piece of rice paper that he kept in his shrine.
One day, when the master died, his disciples built a large tomb and they decided to open the shrine because they wanted to know the secret of life.
Well, it was really a piece of rice paper in the shrine, and it read:
"The mystery of life I have left behind, as a guest leaves his mark in the hearts of the people, lost in time and space and the illusion. Who reveals the mystery, has no reason to seek. Become a seeker, if you find what you are looking for, since you are no longer seekers - and you cheat yourself for valuable experiences and encounters.
