THE DEVASTATING MOMENT OF MY LIFE
Having written my introductory post, I decided to share with you what actually caused a great disorderliness and havoc in my life almost 2 years back
It all happened years back after I finished my secondary school, and to skip the troubles and hurdles of gaining admission in Nigeria, my parents, who were so passionate about my success decided to sponsor my education to a University outside the country. On hearing about that, most especially because it's a University outside the country, I was pretty happy! Feeling superior to my counterparts in my home country even though it's nearby.
Without any delay, my parents swung into action and made my dream of schooling abroad came true. After being admitted, I paid the necessary fees and got a conducive accommodation for myself. A week after, the school notify her students about the resumption date, which I even resumed a week before then to get myself acquainted with the school environment.
After proper orientation, which took place for a whole week, all academic activities were resumed and everything was going fine and well. Yeah! I was very happy then not knowing something devastating will happen then.
My first year in the school was a wow! But on getting to second year, I started hearing some rumours all around that there will be some problems with the school in a future time which I didn't take serious, hoping everything will be fine. Unfortunately, what I thought to be rumour actually surfaced when I got to my third year, making the joy in me turned to sorrow.
This actually brought a sorrow to my life and that moment became the most challenging period of my life because, I was mocked by friends who didn't support the idea of schooling abroad. I cried but there was nobody to clean my tears. I wasted three years schooling!!! Money and some other things wasted!!! Life sucks!!!
At that moment, I had no choice but to come back to what I didn't want to do, and it was done joyfully.
Right now, i'm in my second year in a renowned University In Nigeria.
Note: I needed to cut the very long story short, this not all. I hope steemit will bring back all that have been wasted as regard monetary aspect.
You remind me of this...all is well dear
