She called the only friend she had left in the world. The one guy who had been around long enough to know the score and knew how to turn things around again.
Sarah borrowed a cell phone after everyone crashed out at the rave. She found her jeans and fumbled around for her phone number list. She used to know Brad Thompson's number by heart but for a few months she had been out of touch with this new crowd.
Sarah Watengeld was lied to about her steady boyfriend, Brad. It led to her leaving him. Her new friends lied for a reason. They planned to turn her out as soon as she became single. They planned to make money on her letting her think she was just being set up for a date with a nice guy. The nice guy was a excon with nothing to lose and sexually abused her then passed her around to other excons that started showing up.
It was 3 months ago the last time she was at Brad's house relaxing watching a movie. All of a sudden Brad's phone rang. Brad answered," hello?"
The man's voice on the other end wanted to speak with Sarah. Brad handed her the phone. Sarah did not even finish saying hello before the voice told her something about Brad. She recognised the voice .The voice told her Brad was a sex offender. Sarah was also told Brad only liked young ones and men. The voice on the phone asked,"why are you even with him?"
Sarah replied,"you better be able to prove it"
The voice told her where to meet to see the proof and hung up. Sarah got up and started to get dressed. Brad smiled at her and asked, "is everything ok darling "
She replied, "I sure hope so"
He got up to kiss her good bye but she told him she was in a hurry and darted from the room. Brad was curious but decided to let her work it out. He was not worried about losing her.
Sarah showed up at party house central. It was like a fun house for excons. She was oblivious to criminal intentions as they always strung her along.
Giving her some dope and partying as people started showing up. One young prostitute asked her if she was the one who was with Brad. The little whore had been coached what to say when she explained to Sarah,"I knew Brad a few years ago but he beat me up when I would not go down on him. Then he raped me" Then came the fake crying.
By the time Sarah heard enough she went home. She did not call Brad after that. She was angry at Brad. She was angry at the girl who told her that. When Brad would show up she did not answer the door. She changed her phone number.
Brad stopped calling and coming over eventually. Then Sarah seen one of the people that was at the party in the store. Lilly invited Sarah to a real party.
Lilly asked Sarah for a ride. During the ride Sarah explained," I do not have anyone to go to the party with."
Lilly replied, "no problem I know this nice guy, Gene who is lonely and would love to go to the party with you" Sarah smiled.
Sarah was not over Brad yet so when she met Gene she went slow. Gene brought her flowers, took her to dinner, and generally treated her really really nice. Every time they got a little romantic she pulled away and he complied with her wishes at first.
Seemed everywhere Brad went for love, affection or even a date he was turned away. Seemed he had some vicious rumours about him floating around.
Weeks went by. Then one day Gene took Sarah to another party at the party house central. Like a gentleman he got her a drink. Lemonade. Gene dropped some powder in the lemonade. By 11 o clock pm Gene and Sarah was making out. This time she said no but he did not stop. She found herself unable to back him off. Then as he fucked her, he made a phone call. He told someone on the phone 30 bucks each but hurry.
Before the party was over, Gene made 200 dollars on Sarah. Gene counted the money and told Sarah who was really out of it," this should pay for the disrespect that Brad Thompson gave me." Then he left.
Sarah found Brad's number. She called him. He answered," hello?"
Sarah said, " HELP!"
Brad made it to the party house and kicked in the front door. A guy with a lead pipe swung it at Brad. He missed because Brad now held the lead pipe. Brad cracked it across the attackers knee cap, shattering it. Brad had Sarah out of there before more idiots showed up.
At his house, he got Sarah some coffee and let her calm down a bit. Then she told Brad everything. Brad knew Gene from years ago. He told her about it.
They lived on the same street. Brad would catch him climbing through Brad's cousin's window when no one was home. He yelled at Gene to get out of there.
Then when Brad was not home, Gene robbed Brad's house of things like Brad's digital camera. The one that had a memory card that could be tracked.
Brad tracked it to Gene's connection's house. Roland knew Brad from back in Brad's party days so Roland let him in. Brad said, "you have my camera"
Roland replied, "I do?"
Brad showed the tracking app on his phone. Roland went into his storage closet and retrieved the camera. He gave it to Brad.
Roland told Brad," i am taking 50 dollars out of that punk's hide when I see him again"
After that two things happened. Gene commited a burglery but was seen. He took money to Roland who beat the crap out of him and took the money from him and kicked him out.
Gene rushed over to Brad's house with a knife in his hand. Before he got close enough a squad car pulled up and took Gene into custody. That was the last time Brad saw Gene.
