It's been about a month since I announced my stellar series; "In These Shoes, What Will You Do? " and here is the first of many editions to come.

The Story

Here's the short story that leads to the question for this edition;

Gloria felt like she had been on an emotional rollercoaster these past three months. How did she get here? She had an idea how but could not be certain she was right.

How was she to tell Kennedy she had made a mistake accepting to date him in the first place.

Her sweet, kind, generous and loving Kennedy; every woman's dream but hers. She just was not feeling him anymore. How had her feelings changed so fast? Had they been there to begin with?

Kennedy had wanted Gloria from the moment he saw her in a mall he frequented. She had been a really tough nut to crack, evading him at every chance she got but he had persisted. He wanted her and by God, he would make her realize she wanted him too.

He had sent her gifts at work everyday, hoping each time he did that he successfully chipped off a little off the brick wall she seemed to have put up against him. He had also showered her with unending attention. Persistence and determination were his way of getting whatever he wanted in life.

Gloria had caved in and agreed to a relationship with him in the second month of his pursuit. Three months later, Kennedy was certain he had hit the jackpot. She was everything he had hoped for and for him, it was three months down and forever to go.

What Kennedy did not know and may soon find out is that Gloria was not on the same page with him. She had not entered the relationship with ulterior motives. She had had every intention of working at loving him but with each passing day, she got more convinced that it was not love that had led her here with Kennedy.

Was it pity for him or the urge to be rid of her loneliness? Gloria could not tell but she knew in her heart that she could not love Kennedy the way he wanted. She had tried to just to make him happy. She wished she could; he was a great guy any lady would be lucky to have but Gloria could not force her heart.

Gloria has found herself in a dilemma. What would she do?
