RE: A neural network devouring your faces — or why have we been taught to take a selfie

in #writing4 years ago

People take selfies because they are indoctrinated in modern humanist nonsense to think their mundane "individual" experiences have relevance in social sphere. Selfies are nothing more than an expression of narcissitic, Western capitalist, pornographic social culture that predominantly stresses self-gratification. There is no "conspiracy" to collect data, as the idiot drones naturally step-over each other, screaming to be noticed, by informing society of their mundane, useless, irrelevant existence in hourly updates on their "social media" sites. In fact, the portable cameras on mobile phones were not faced towards the user, until the manufacturers noticed the inordinate amount of narcissistic self-worship in the users, several years into producing these mobile phone gadgets. Contrary to popular myths, those who govern have little to no interest in the plebian lifestyles of their drones.

Hello! I did not mean the conspiracy as something mysterious and terrible. This is not actually a conspiracy. It is truth.

I recently attended a lecture by an engineer who collects data. There he told how the system analyzes the photos from the instagram and predicts the income and status of a person, so that later advertisers would show him relevant ads.

The system also analyzes photos of pregnant girls on Instagram and even determines the month of pregnancy. That is, the child has not yet been born, but the system knows when to offer mothers baby products.

The purpose of the article is not to reveal a secret. The purpose of the article is to tell that all photos are collected, summarized and analyzed. Today they are sold for advertising, tomorrow the police, the day after tomorrow - who knows.
