Interesting readings proposals for your next couple hours.
I am going to get a medical license I swear to God, the moment this quarantine is over.
Just a bunch of links which I will just quote some key phrases of each one for you to go and check them out. Truth is always in the grey areas of the stories that goes around. It is never absolute black or absolute white. So I suffer of the syndrome that I can't digest info if I do not read the source, I know call me mad. But I think a lot of people are like that, or I hope there are.
If I can find that info so easy so openly and so uncensored with every source there could possible be linked in the bottom of every Wikipedia article so can every other so called journalist do. Or are my standards that high.
Leave a comment if you read them with your opinions.
Here are some key mentions. I hope you will get entertained. After that I will try to put my own thoughts in an order and present them to you in a polite manner (you can really skip the part with my opinions and I suggest you go straight to Wikipedia and cultivate your own)
Have a fun reading.

You need to refer the author if you plan to use this image on your blog. so do that if you like it for your next article, it is a cc image so the least you can do is honor the creators wish. (seen it going around without the reference this past days) electronic telescopes are not working with film, palladium and gold are the cheapest from the equation that are needed to get this imagery, so we can have a president to claim its a democratic hoax.
On the announcement, media speculation included the idea that it could be created intentionally as a biological weapon. In 2018, WHO R&D Blueprint Special Advisor Group member Røttingen was questioned about the potential of Disease X to come from the ability of gene-editing technology to produce synthetic viruses (e.g. the 2017 synthesis of Orthopoxvirus in Canada was cited

The first clinical trial involving CRISPR started in 2016. It involved removing immune cells from people with lung cancer, using CRISPR to edit out the gene expressed PD-1, then administrating the altered cells back to the same person. 20 other trials were under way or nearly ready, mostly in China, as of 2017.[89]
In 2016, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a clinical trial in which CRISPR would be used to alter T cells extracted from people with different kinds of cancer and then administer those engineered T cells back to the same people.

A scientist claims she was infected by a genetically modified virus while working for Pfizer. In her federal lawsuit she says she has been intermittently paralyzed by the Pfizer-designed virus. "McClain, of Deep River, suspects she was inadvertently exposed, through work by a former Pfizer colleague in 2002 or 2003, to an engineered form of the lentivirus, a virus similar to the one that can lead to acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS." The court found that McClain failed to demonstrate that her illness was caused by exposure to the lentivirus, but also that Pfizer violated whistleblower protection laws.

Genetically modified viruses that make the target animals infertile through immunocontraception have been created as well as others that target the developmental stage of the animal.[36] There are concerns over virus containment and cross species infection.

I think it is obvious by now that science is way beyond what an average Joe can comprehend. The goal is mainly the control of the environmental parameters that create shortages of food such as pest reproducing control and more. It is a big surprise to see that people are so interesting into medical sciences though since it seems like yesterday the only thing that people where interesting for medical science only if it was about Kim Kardashian had another plastic ass surgery.
Do I understand all that shit you might ask. The answer is obviously not, I don't and don't be fooling your selves. None of the journalists that are feeding you fear are. But the thing is that you can read them for yourselves if you think that we are in short of a secret biological-warfare going on after that then I suggest you read it again.
First of all if it was going to be a bio-weapon it wouldn't be a SARS-strain to begin with. They would have modified something else or from what I can tell so far straight up create something totally new or heck even bring the Black Plague back witch was way more deadly than anything, since if you read the CRISPR article that is well inside the human grasp to do I am sure they have strains from that virus frozen to some labs for research, but let me make sure and google that (give me a sec = https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/plague) there you go here is the link. And would you look at that they don't have to search a lot for a sample it is still active but quite defetead, as is everything that is falling under the scope of scientific research and effort.
As you guess already I go with it as I am thinking and writing them down. I do not fabricate stories for fear-mongering. So why someone who would want to create a bio-weapon would chose SARS over the Yersinia pestis. Is like equivalent of weaponizing catapults when you have at your disposal nukes.
Anyhow I am not really worried about Covid-19 I am sure we will all get it and the vast majority of us will be just fine in a week. I worry about the people that will be in a real need of immediate medical treatment if we don't act responsible. We are no under a totalitarian regime we are under a test of showing if we can put others safety over our own minor inconvenience. Scientists are going to get the solution even if the get some shit wrong, after all they are not Gods they are just humans with fancy hobbies and weird interests. Or should I say creepy and morbid in many ways.
But anyhow. Science is going forward in a pace that really it doesn't matter what I believe or what my thoughts are on the matter. I can't keep up with it and I sure can't have an opinion over things that are beyond my knowledge. I am not going to talk shit against scientists that believe that what they are doing it will eventually going to save lives as I am not talking shit about anyone believes.
I can only guess that if they do en vitro experiments with new methods like CRISPR and so on are to get some results that will eventually help them to get treatments for really serious deceases.
Also in small news 2 patients of HIV were cure last month, did you knew that? If something was worth to be spread around it would be that breakthrough more than ever, the headlines lasted though for what? Maybe a day?
At the end of the day fear is what sells news. The media know that and so self proclaimed journalists. What have failed once again are governments and mass media outlets. Scientists still work 24/7 to find solutions and avoid the worst case scenarios.
137,000 deaths in a global lock-down situation is not a little deal. I am sure the number would have been already 10x bigger if we were just to ignore it and just spread it around like no big deal.
Anyway I have to go back into night trading. The markets doesn't buy or sell them selves I will probably put some spare coins in a Pharma something with CRISPR patents or what not. Probably going to be a big thing next decade.
