Mixed nuts. Web Designers are target of scam

A man sent a comment through my website requesting a full website package. He seemed to know exactly what he wanted and gave a great ballpark figure for his budget.
It was to resemble agroamerica.com

This seemed a nice eco conscious company that cared for communities.

Agroamerica was quite a large sight. I wrote a proposal and estimate.

I don't know if this company was aware, but with all the scammers using it, it's likely they do.

I was familiar with 2 of the 3 products and decided to look up the 3rd.

There were scam alerts everywhere, with nearly exact wording. Evidently this nut doesn't exist... but lives on in the perpetrator.

I sent him a cheeky, mock website for approval. I couldn't resist.

Sort:  

Interesting ethic issue, to design or not to design, or perhaps to goof on them instead. Thankfully I have not had to face this particular problem yet.
