The Lonely Fart - A Poem (by @joeldrotts)
Here is a brief poem written by the great writer, lawyer, entrepreneur, web designer and consumer data privacy advocate @joeldrotts, concerning the existential crises and social isolation faced by our personal gas, as told through the eyes of one brief but Lonely Fart. It will make you laugh, cry and order a very large burrito. This poem will change everything you thought you knew about the secret lives of farts, and expose you to a realm of consciousness that had previously gone unnoticed by us, until now - the thoughtful musings and repressed angst of our flatulent emissions.
Without further adieu, I'm pleased to present...
The Lonely Fart
By Joel Drotts, Esquire and Juris Doctorate
...I ripped into existence!
Pushing ever so gently through slabs of buttcheek!
You will know I've wafted into existence,
By my oderous lingering.
How fleeting, truly, is the life of a fart?
For nothing else on this planet is so special,
and fragile
Born unto this earth for only a moment...
Leaving only the memories
Of the beans that you ate.
Who cries for me, the Lonely Fart!
Disowned by my maker, avoided by strangers and laughed at by children...
O' woe is me, the Lonely Fart!

Well, there ya go. Hopefully you enjoyed this fabulous piece of literary brilliance!
PS - Joel could have posted on his blog, but apparently he did something weird with his passwords, and locked himself out. Anyone have any advice on account recovery? It would be greatly appreciated!
