That one day i will
wake to you
sitting in your favorite chair
with a wide newspaper
and warm coffee
and. it will be as if
it had always been that way
and then
i wont even remember
what its like
to feel so alone
and then i wont even know
what its like
to rely on myself
and come to think of it
i think im going to miss
having such a profound
sense of independence
and come to think of it
i don't think i want
to see a newspaper
anytime soon
at all.
they always do
squeeze out such
stale pieces
of the whole story.
