50 Word Story Starter

Once I would've killed the guy.
Once I would've thanked him.
Once I would've done many things differently.
Now, here, today I just exhaled the last draft of my cigarette, turned and walked away.
Today was going to be a long day.
That damned Litch was back in town.
This is a story that keeps going around in my head and I though I'd share it here for you to taste. It might bight a thread and prompt you to pick it up. You might see the next few sentences and share them. You might not. Perhaps we could throw it around in 50 word chunks each one adding to the last?
I have to thank some friends for saving me today. I'm not naming names and you may not know you're an inspiration but you are... This is my 59th post and I honestly thought it was the first day I'd miss a post. After a troublesome event or two I was quite disillusioned with steemit in general and had all but decided to just put it down for a while. But you few have held me and shown that I do hold more value than the sum of my vote and reminded me that I've writing this these posts from the heart about things I live and love and learn and want to share. Reminded also that Minnows can help Minnows together we can do better, help each other up and build our home here on steemit.
So thank you, I'm proud to have friends like you, and you and you. ; -)

seems we are the same in sharing what we learn not only here on steemit but other platforms too and offline as well :) in years past I've in my head damaged a few mean individuals or items belonging to them I'm sure glad I don't take my anger out like other members of my family would have :) I don't think of myself as a better person but I try to be :) thanks for sharing I've passed it on :)
The sharing of stories, the spreading of knowledge, it's how we connect. How we can form bonds across the world, or in our back yard. It's surely more value than all the money in the world. I think Anger is as valid an emotion as any, it's how one chooses to express it that can be damaging.
Thank you honestly for taking time to share, and I'm glad to see you again. It's been a little while and I've been missing slack more than I should. I hope you're doing well.
