I had woken up earlier than usual I had a nightmare I was sweating and shaking I saw the clock marked 6:15 AM. I noticed the window and the weather was cloudy, the cold was not normal there was fog on the roofs of the houses it was relaxing, melancholic and sad.

I had to work at 8:00 AM. I sat on the bed to think, my wife was by my side still sleeping peacefully, the mirror inside the bathroom whose door remained open, it was fogged up, I felt a strange, enveloping atmosphere, disturbing maybe I'm delirious and the semi-nakedness of my beloved idolizes me. My heart is beating really hard.

With resignation, I walked slowly to the bathroom to brush my teeth. The mirror was still fogged. I assume it was because of the cold and damp, I cleaned it and I started my hygienic task. The atmosphere was crushing me I felt choked, desperate, I wanted to flee, but at the same time I was curious, what was this feeling?

Look at the mirror carefully, how horrible was my face, however something caught my attention, it was like a mirage, it was so fast that I could not see too much, but, Did I see anyone else besides me? I got scared, I crushed my eyes and it was gone, it looked like a woman. God, what's happening? I wonder, suddenly I heard a noise in the door of the bathroom that made me come back to itself, it was my wife, I opened it and it looked nervous and a little scared.

-"What's wrong?"- She asks with anxiety and curiosity.

-"No, nothing, everything is fine"- I answer surprised and still thinking about what I had just seen.

I really did not know what to answer Did I see someone in the mirror? Maybe she would think that I'm crazy.

-"Does something happen to you? You look scared"- She looks at me confused.

-"You were in the bathroom almost 2 hours"-

-"What...?! That is impossible" - I looked at the clock and saw that it was 8:30 am. What the hell.

-"I hit the door several times but you did not answer I heard a scream and I got scared but I see that you're fine maybe it was my imagination, I'll go prepare the breakfast" -

But what is she talking about? Something very strange is happening, I went back to the bathroom and looked at the mirror, I was scared to see the same person this time, she was a woman equal to my wife, no, that was my wife, immediately turn around and no longer there was nobody

I'm seeing things, am I going crazy? I quickly got out of the bathroom and went to the closet to get my clothes to go to work, I put the clothes on the bed, I felt dazed by what was happening, I entered the bathroom cautiously, I looked at the mirror and there it was, my wife, could not Believe it, turn around slowly and I saw it.

-"Are you okay honey? Breakfast is served"- Says carefully.

-"Are you okay, honey, are you very strange this morning?"- She is already getting scared and puts her hand on my shoulder.

-"I'm fine, I just had a bad dream, it's all nothing to worry about"- I respond by pretending a smile.

Incredible, I got dressed, went down the stairs and started feeding. Thinking what the fuck was going on without alerting my wife who was already worried and scared about my behavior

It was 9:00 AM I had to go to work, but I went back to the bathroom and looked at the mirror the scene I saw through it, it was horrible, there was blood everywhere I was shocked, my wife, my beloved wife was nailed to the wall with a grim smile on his face.

-"But what is this? It's not real ... IT'S NOT REAL!"- I'm out of breath.

Stunned, confused, scared, I could only see with tears in my eyes that terrible reflection, I felt like my heart was shattering, begging God to be a nightmare.

I ran out of the bathroom, I slipped and fell, when I opened my eyes the whole room was bloody, it was impossible, what had happened? The whole house was a mess, broken things on the floor, broken glass, torn furniture, I was confused, crying, I did not know what was happening, I yelled at my wife but she did not answer, at the moment I remembered that I had seen her through the mirror pinned to the wall, I ran nonstop to the second floor and the bathroom was closed.

It was a joke? It's a nightmare? I opened the door and there she was, nailed to the wall dripping blood everywhere, she was beheaded, she was still hot, I collapsed, I knelt to pray that it was a nightmare I stood up and destroyed inside observe the mirror, everything looked normal, I saw around me and everything was normal the clock read 9:05 am The blood had disappeared, I quickly went down the stairs and there was my wife, then I hugged her tightly, sobbing, I kissed her lips .

-"My love, you're pale, tell me what's wrong with you?"- Between my arms she speaks to my ear with a muffled voice.

-"Nothing, and everything happened ... everything happened ..."- I could feel her warmth at that moment was everything to me, I could feel that she was still with me.

With immense relief I went to work, upon arriving at the office they all saw me strangely I listened to the scattered whispers, I ignored them I sat in the chair at my desk and noticed that everyone was watching the news, and I felt that they were pointing in my direction.

The whispers continued, I knew it was about me but I had no head to think about, I guess it was because I was late, my phone rang, it was from my house, I attended.

-"You should come ..."- What was that voice? It was not my wife.

-"Hello? Hello? Who's talking? Please answer"- He hung up the phone.

Terrified, I returned home, the voice sounded very similar to mine. I arrived, opened the door and everything was bloodied just like in the scene I saw in the mirror, the TV was on, the news reported a macabre event in a house, a house that caught my attention.

It was our house, I ran in a hurry to the second floor and my wife was in the bathroom nailed to the wall with her throat open and a smile drawn from ear to ear I fell to the floor on my knees, I do not understand anything, I saw the mirror, and I could see myself, I was smiling, I had a knife in my hand, I was bathed in blood, I was laughing but I was crying at the same time.

I heard patrols arriving at the front of the house, they were surrounding me, they knocked down the door, they found me in the bathroom laughing in front of the mirror and they stopped me, I resisted and they started hitting me so hard that I lost consciousness. When I woke up I was in my house, everything was normal, my wife next to me, I got up in despair and I saw the clock, it was 6:15 am, it was my dream, it was my nightmare, I ran to the bathroom and saw the mirror, it was me , with a macabre laugh, with work clothes, bloodied, with a knife in my hand.
