The Red Thread of Fate
There is an ancient belief in East Asia which says that people who are destined to meet in their lifetime are connected by invisible strings, linked through their ankles or little fingers. These people do not necessarily have to be romantically involved with each other, sometimes these people just need one another other to learn a lesson or two about life, and to help each other in certain predicaments of life.
We are all interconnected.
In the vast distance of time and space, all of us are bound together by invisible strings that never break apart. These strings may get pulled in different directions or get entangled among other lines, but in the end, these connections will always find their way back home.
Yes. It is often in our lives that unexpected events tend to separate us from certain people who are important to us. It’s like, all at once, we wake up one day, and find that they are gone. And when they leave, it seems unlikely that we’ll ever see them again. So we keep asking– why do they have to be taken away from us, when we’re souls of the same kind? This question will linger for a long time, and all we can do is find a way to mend the huge void they left in our hearts.
But the truth is, these lost souls still live under the same stars as us.
They are still within the reach of our fingertips. Perhaps it may take weeks, months, or even years to unite with them again, but we will. For it is believed in the ancient times that those who are linked with our souls cannot really be permanently estranged from us. They may only disappear for a while, but they will always be driven back to us. After all, souls of the same frequency match each other’s tune.
All of a sudden, while we’re busy with our lives, the Universe would tell us it’s time to be with these lost souls again. At an exact moment in time, the stars would point the direction to where they are. Then out of nowhere, we would suddenly find them. And the feeling would be inexplicable. It would be like experiencing our eyes open for the first time again. Maybe we’re only meeting them momentarily or maybe this time we would be inseparable, but only the stars know for sure. The important thing is that on this instant, our souls finally get to reconnect for a momentous period in time.
And after all this, we would realize that not even the Cosmos can ever explain the wondrous possibility of our interconnection with one another, because no matter how complicated and chaotic our lives may seem, certain souls who are in the same sync to the tune of our hearts — will always find their way back home.
Time is never of the essence when it comes to soul mates. For souls are ageless, and knows no boundaries between distance and space. And even if it takes forever for these souls to find each other in the vast expanse of the Universe—
All they know is that one day in time, they will.

Thanks Mama @debilog! <3
I love the idea that there is someone we're connected to, allotted just for us, to cross paths and learn from each other. 💕 A really beautiful write-up. Thanks for sharing Ms Dyaaaan 💕
Thank you @erangvee!! We'll never know if the ancient story is real or not, but the fact that it might be possible really amazes me. 💕
SOULMATE... To be honest, I don't believe in a soulmate. (^_^)
In a relationship boyfriend, girlfriend, and couple. Once you have a mutual understanding, you are inside of what they call RESPONSIBILITY.
In responsibility, you need to be honest and sincere. You choose that, and not someone else. So God puts the brain on the head to think before you do what you want to do if it is right or wrong.
Well, sometimes intelligence brings pride to man. So they must learn to be humble...

Yes, that is true! Those are the main ingredients for a successful relationship.
For my part, I actually believe in "soulmates" as just a concept. It could be true for some, and untrue for others. However, I also think that the concept of "soulmates" do not apply in romantic couples only. The same kind of strong, indescribable bond can also be found within friends, and family as well. :)
Good read!
Thank you, @mostvulnerable! :)
