What i think about this revolution of CONTENT: STEEMIT & TED. – Marian La Gamma (ENG)

Years ago, almost all the content we found at social networks was only for leisure time.
I mean, we all watched and shared photos, videos, memes, and empty posts, with no message at all, with no value, and with the only purpose of receiving likes and have some feedback with other people.

Actually, today, we keep doing it, and we still find most of this content on facebook, snapchat, and even instagram.

But the difference is that now, that’s not our only choice. I call it THE CONTENT REVOLUTION.

We have too many and better options and we can use our skills and other tools like steemit, instagram or TED, to teach people and to learn from them too, and besides that, we can make money on it.

But, I think that the most important thing on this, is not about money, but it’s on the social impact this content revolution has on us, and the people who read us.

Actually, from my point of view, money is just the incentive or stimulus for us to create more quality content, and to turn our leisure time into work, while at the same time we turn our audience’s time into knowledge.

So, we all win. We, the people who write, develop creative, quality and different content everyday while we learn and make money on it. And you, the people who are reading this, learn new things and develop different points of view from the information you get.

Butttt, the best of all of this stuff, is that WE ALL as society, become more interested in value content, incentivate our children to learn while they’re on social networks, and look for other stuff rather than leisure and empty content which leaves us NOTHING.

So if you spend hours reading good stuff on STEEMIT, or watching videos at TED, don’t feel guilty, actually you can be learning A LOT of things you didn’t know and you don’t even notice it because it’s too entertaining and valuable.

And if you still spend hours watching memes on facebook, I think you should consider investing some of that time on reading quality content that really leaves you something amazing for your life.

CONTENT IS KING now. And I feel happy with that because we, as writers, improve ourselves everyday to give something really worthy and valuable to the network!

And I’m sure it will give us rewards someday!
