Being mindful of other persons feelings and emotion is emotional intelligence. Focusing on the positive things and reacting appropriately is necessary for a hamonious relationship. Most of the time if we respect the other person we also give them our trust and confidence. We are mindful of not hurting them because we know might cause pain to the other person.
