7 English words that almost no one uses anymore
There is hardly any language that reminds us of Frankenstein as English: there are many words stolen from other languages and terms that have reinvented themselves over and over again to sound more upscale (in the 17th century for example with a French-like spelling and pronunciation) ). Nowadays, the two largest English dialects, namely British and American, regularly take over from each other, so that 'own' terms fall into disuse. And that is so incredibly sin! These are seven words that I think we should use immediately.
1. Kerfuffle
This word would come from Scottish or Irish and pronounce you as "curr-fuff-ull". You use it when someone makes a lot of noise for nothing. And do not act like you've never done that yourself before.
2. Ostentatious
Okay, this word is sometimes used, but most people do not know what it means (or how you play it, they should be ashamed!). If you say something is "oss-ten-tay-shuss", you mean that something or someone is showing off something in a flash. Someone who drives around in an idiot expensive car or wears a spur-looking designer jacket because it's just a designer, for example.
3. Henceforth
You pronounce it as "hentz-forrth" and it is an expensive form of "from this point on" (from now on). Sounds very chic, does not it?
4. Morrow
The brilliant word 'morrow' comes from the old English / German 'morning' and the Middle English 'morwe'; it is a forerunner of tomorrow (which is actually "to the morrow"). It means 'the day after today' and you can say hello to your friends with 'on the morrow' to impress or to cause confusion.
5. Crapulous
This fantastic term is actually the opposite of 'fabulous' and means 'to feel sick after having eaten or drunk too much'. Something that describes my entire life.
6. Facetious
You pronounce this as "fah-see-shuss" and you can use it when someone does not take a situation seriously. Which, of course, is very serious. I do not know if there is a word for that.
7. Obsequious
You probably now look at the word above and ask yourself what it means for heaven's sake. You say it as "obb-see-kwee-uss" and call someone like him so incredibly nice and helpful that it seems fake. Note: this word is so satisfying to say that it will probably lie on the tip of your tongue all day long. I have warned you.
Supporting you all. Stay focused on your path.
And fight for your dreams.

Well I learned something today! Thanks for sharing. Your life does not need to be crapulous so henceforth beginning the morrow be more positive as life is what you make it!
Thanks a lot, wise words!
