Not a problem, when I saw the original post I had to look into it and do a little verification. Turns out as per the norm Canadians are about to get royally fucked lol.

This carbon tax shouldn't even be talked about.
they are doing exactly the WRONG thing. We need more CO2 in the air, not less. Not that it matters. CO2 concentration is a result, not a cause. What ever caused the CO2 concentration to increase now, happened about a thousand years ago.
That I do not know, all I know is there's no factual basis or backing to be taking more currency away from the citizens.
If there's no cost incurred what is the tax for?

how ever examination of the greenland ice cores AND those from AntArctic clearly show that CO2 concentration in the air LAGS temperature...(by about a thousand years). It's an effect, not a cause.
And I agree...government is insane.
What they do is not logical.
I always mix up effect and affect, quite frankly I just dont care enough to memorize the difference since most people don't know anyways.
