BREAKING THE CHAIN

Successful people actually never sacrifice their future based on the past. The past is over with and done. They simply take what they can learn from the past, and move forward into the future.

Just like everyone else, successful people rarely had the ideal or perfect childhood experience. In fact, most successful people come from less than ideal backgrounds-even abusive backgrounds. But, they let the past go and instead focus on creating a brighter and better future for themselves. They know they can’t help or change what happened during their past but they CAN have a great future- no matter what their past was like.

Successful people actually break the chains of enslavement that the average people voluntarily enslave themselves to. Examples of such enslavement could include; Fun, Work, poor money habits, bad friends, other people’s approval, and the list goes on.

A very interesting example is, the average man goes to work and on returning home, flops down in front of the TV until bed time (because TV is entertaining and it takes his mind off of his responsibilities) and he does this day in and day out… he is actually a slave.

Watching the TV every night and movies on the weekend is not the way to a successful life. Now I am not saying watching the TV is actually bad, all I am saying spending your whole time on it is just killing you time for self-productivity. Someone once said that “watching TV is watching someone else get rich while the watcher gets poorer.” (There is a reason the rich get richer and the poor get poorer)

Just think of what this same man could accomplish, have and be if he spends less of that time on TV. A successful person knows that watching the latest movie series won’t benefit him at all than if he reads a book that can teach him a new skill or technique on completing the book. He knows it could very well put money in his pocket or help his home be in an even happier place.
