Musings: Opportunities and Changes
It has been awhile since I blogged or done anything related to my passion for writing. Life has taken so much of my time off the screen and my pens, that I didn't notice how much time has passed since I wrote something — or so I tell myself.
Applying for a scholarship program abroad and awaiting its results got me too caught up that I feel like a part of myself entered a coma, and I knew right then I was just making excuses. I realized that I've put the other things in my life at pause when I'm anxious over another part. I know. Not a good practice at all.
I should've realized sooner that changes create opportunities — to grow, to rediscover, and yes, even to pause. But pausing for too long and just allowing yourself to be overwhelmed, to be carried by the waves will not help you at all.
So here I am, trying to turn my thoughts to words once more, hoping to reignite the passion to create and tell stories once again. #
