NOTABLE EVENTS ON THE FIRST DAY OF MARCH.
Although the tick-tock sound made by the clock, journeys slowly but it always remains steady and never reverse it's route. It tirelessly counts from the first numeral and goes on and on. As life would have it, we get to experience new events as the day goes by, our friends and loved ones celebrates birthday, gets married and this can only leave us with special moments that bring us memories which we keep dear to our heart. Sometimes we set a reminder for these special events so that we can celebrate the memories that it leaves.
The first day of the third month makes the 60th day of the year 2018 and there are history that has been made on this day in the past years, there are birthdays celebrated and marriage union too. Although we may not be able to go through every of the historical events that took place on this day, we will acknowledge the ever lasting memories that this day has brought to us.

Winston Rodney popular known by his stage name "Burning Spear" is a Rastafarian and a Jamaican reggae singer. He is one of the living legends that emerged during the 1970s.
Today we will be celebrating his 73 birthday and we are not worried about someone drinking and driving. No! No!! not at all, it's just smoking and flying. lol

On this day in 1941, the popular comic figure Captain America appeared in a comic book for the first time. Still in publication is the comic story of a patriotic soldier who often fought the axis power of World War II. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should consider it soon.
CHARLEY CHAPLIN COFFIN WAS STOLEN
On 1st of March 1978, Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin an English comic actor, film maker, and composer had his remains after death stolen in a Swiss cementary. Rumours had it that it was stolen because of the practise of some gruesome comedy but there was nothing funny about the act.

On March 1st 1872, yellow stone was established by the US Congress as the first national park in history. It is popularly known for by his old faithful geyser feature. It has a great deal of wildlife and it is a beautiful site for tourist.

On this day in 1971, there was a bomb attack on the Capitol in Washington and although no one was hurt, it left a damage estimated over $300,000. This happened during the protest of the ongoing U.S-supported Laos invasion.
