A Simple Prayer for Suffering Friends

Sometimes you pray because you need help.

Sometimes you pray to encourage others as well.

I wrote this prayer recently for myself and some friends going through a tough time:

Heavenly Father,

You know what my friends and I are going through right now.

The pain, the anger, the struggle - you see it all and know it all.

Show us our next steps.

Show us how to bring healing.

Show us how to love each other in this difficult time.

In your name,
