SIMPLE WAYS TO SHOW COURTESY OR POLITENESS IN 2018
Hello steemit friends, how are you doing today? Compliment of the season! As 2018 is around the corner, we will like to talk out those simple ways we can use to show courtesy to our family, friends and those around us that we may not be doing, when you show courtesy to people around you, they will start to appreciate you extremely.
So let’s start to talk about those ways.
When someone gives you a phone call and you missed the call, it shows courtesy or politeness if you drop a message as soon as possible if you're unable to call back or you can call the person back later when you are ready instead of neglecting the person.
When you borrow money from someone, pay it back as soon as possible no matter how
little the amount is. Don't assume that they don't need it, and never make them ask you for it. This will make them to give you next time you ask for it.
Another way is to turn down the volume of your electronics when you're watching video, playing
music or playing a game in a public place or, better still use headphones. Do not give inconvenience to the public.
Most people always play music or game, watch videos or chat with their phones even when someone is having a conversation with them. This is wrong and does not show courtesy. Don't use your phone or use headphones when someone is having a conversation with you.
Unplug the headsets from your ears even if nothing is playing and give them your undivided attention.
Most people always go through other people’s privacy without knowing the implication of what they do. When using someone else's phone or computer, don't go through their personal files which is so personal to them without their permission, it does not show courtesy.
When someone offers you their home to pass the night, make the bed or fold the blankets when you wake up from sleep, don’t leave with the bed scattered, it does not show courtesy.
Lastly, when you borrow a bike or car from a friend or someone else, don’t return it with an empty tank. Try to refill with few litres as a way of saying thank you to the person.
