The lofty thinking
“Something very beautiful happens to people when their world has fallen apart: a humility, a nobility, a higher intelligence emerges at just the point when our knees hit the floor”
Hello dear steemians!!!
I want to apologize for my absence, during this time, but as you know, I was studying. I graduated from the Andrés Bello Catholic University with the best grades and obtained my Certificate as a Project Specialist in the Management Program for Community Organizations.
Thank you...
Today I invite you keep watching this space as we continue to write our own history.....
You need a set of impartial, non judgemental eyes
Surrender to win. It is a paradox that is difficult to understand at first. But the more you realize that all your worry and anxiety is wasted energy and that there is higher power that loves you and is willing to be your partner, the more you can tap into the power surrender. Love brings with it the power to dissolve all negativity and conflict. Love attracts kindness, security, peace, and affection and is activated by giving it away and extending it into any situation.
I want to share with you the love story of my wonderful friend Agatha, with whom I studied in my country, Venezuela, and shared unforgettable moments when I was being younger. Today she lives in Brasil and she has shown courageous steps necessary to move us to the destination we all desire and aspire to, and which the people who sent us here very well deserve, that a dream can only be fulfilled if one has confidence that it will come true in the midst of adversity:
“My friend of 15 years and I began a relationship after his marriage of 28 years broke down. They’d been apart for a year when I told him how I’d always loved him. We’d always been good friends and I never thought I’d get to love him in this way. We don’t live in the same city so in a period of 6 months I saw him twice for a week each time. This was very intense and in between times we’d talk everyday. I did know he was uncertain as to what he wanted and so I kept asking him if he was ok to keep the relationship going. I was always honest about how I felt and fell in love with him. Just before my second trip to see him I found out my mum was dying so I was feeling very vulnerable. I felt the second time I saw him that his heart wasn’t in it in the same way and I tried to talk to him. He wouldn’t respond and, in the end, he broke up with me via messenger. I was (and still am) really heartbroken. He seemed to expect me to go back to being friends straight away and I tried. There is so much that is good in him, but I’m struggling to reconcile what he did with who I thought I knew him to be. I thought I was going crazy for a while as it’s very hard to communicate only via electronic media. We’ve only spoken once on the phone since December as he prefers to message or email. I was very conflicted and rang a friend of his to gain some clarity. I told him I’d done this as I wanted to be open but now, he’s angry at me for betraying the friendship and punishing him. It all just seems like such a huge mess and I’m finding life pretty hard. I’d like to forgive him and I’d like him to forgive me, but somehow, I think only time will heal these wounds….”
She is going through a lot. She has experienced a double loss, both a relationship and her mother, which is huge. My friend Agatha combines two main ideas: the firm belief that one's goals can be achieved despite adverse fate, the contrast between the naivety of childhood and the burden of adulthood, and lofty thinking helps one avoid harmful limitation, but it is not easy to establish an appropriate level of beautiful and lofty thought amidst life's misfortunes, and very few are prepared to unsderstand that it is lifes´s diffficulties themselves that can assist lofty thinking.
Two months after my friend Agatha told me her story, I received a phone call one night, and she told me that she had talked with her boyfriend and they happily reconciled.
Only with uplifted thinking could such unity, based upon fullest trust, exist. Adversity, similar to lava, appears to destroy everything in its way. But out of the ashes and smoke, new, better, and stronger things emerge that may have not been born in any other way.
Each one of us has to carry the high thought and all the joy, even in the difficulties and adversities of life. I pondered all these things, and how men fight and lose the battle, but taking of the man his best and worst characteristics, they show extreme situations that leave to us positive lessons.
"Have an excellent week, and let each of you manage to focus on that task that has not yet been completed, that today is one of those days where you managed to break with the common life and take a step closer to that continuous improvement"
I agree there is real strength in knowing when to submit and when you're race is run, theres strength in giving someone power over you and trusting them not to misuse it.
..I really enjoyed this post and I thought I would nominate you as one of my @pifc posts of the week. You can find my nomination here and you can find out more about the project here. Feel free to join us if you like :)
Hi @chekohler Thank you very much. I value and treasure your gracious words and invitation.
I think that life truly is a journey. The experiences we have as we travel through our days are what give our lives richness, meaning and purpose. And what about all those moments that reveal our values, such as humility and acceptance, or that show us our greatness? They may be less spectacular or outwardly notable to others, but these markers often play a more significant role in defining our life values, our sense of self, and our place in the world, and I think this is the best way to do it.
A big hug
A year of significant wins for you!!!

Thanks for sharing this story! Is there anyone alive who hasn't suffered something similar to this? I know I have... Sometimes the people we trust the most are the ones who disappoint us first. That's just life, I guess.
Congratulations on being featured by @chekohler in an entry for the Pay It Forward Contest
Hi @trincowski Thank you very much for your words of support and for your friendliness.
Sometimes things simply do not work out the way we planned them, but even though it may be a regular ordeal, it is always disappointing to some degree. Not everyone has the same heart as you. Sometimes we expect more from others because we would be willing to do that much for them.
I am convinced that the verb to believe is a special verb, the widest and the narrowest of all verbs, but love is understood, in a historical way, as one of the great human vocations.
We need better people because we live in a society more dominated by desire, lust, greed, and all the lower passions, than by the reason and the love.
A big hug
I wish you much success and happiness!!
Hi @euriguiwi2018. Learning to be positive in the negative situations is one of the hardest things to do. I'm glad that they were able to come to an understanding. It might have just been too much for him to take in with the other relationship breaking up. You last line is a wonderful thought, it gives us all something to think about.

To forgive truly is to give a new opportunity and give to ourselves, above all, because love ultimately understands, forgives and forgets. Human nature is complex but at its simplest form we want to be connected to each other, not superficially but with a warm heart and a caring hug. At our darkest time, which will come for every individual, we need to give ourselves space and time to reflect, embrace the pain and pick up the pieces of a broken soul.
Only after this process, we seek out to empower your inner cores; love, acceptance and attention. It’s really about how quickly you can redirect your focus from negative to positive. Positivity is a choice, and the quicker you learn to reframe, the more time you’ll spend in a positive space. Then, over time, the more likely you are to turn directly to a positive interpretation of events. Besides, we know well that love, as it acquires perfection, ceases to rely on intermediaries; it does not even need words.
A big hug
I wish you success, happiness and prosperity in all projects!!
