Plot line for a short film: The Deaf Boy Chasing After The Wind

  Following is a plot line for a short animated film. A friend of mine and I worked on this long time ago, thought it would be nice to share this with fellow steemians ;) 

The Deaf Boy Chasing After The Wind   

Director’s intention The deaf boy chases after the wind. Wind cannot be seen and the deaf cannot hear anything. Each one of us, ‘I’ could be the lonely deaf boy. At the same time we are living in desolate city. Our lives are not different from chasing after what the wind left behind. Wounds from the past cannot be perfectly healed. Time after time, we look at the scar and think of the past pain. I encourage all of the wounded of our time to chase after it rather than helplessly waiting for the pain to disappear. Of course we will never know what is waiting for us at the end… 

Synopsis A lonely boy and his dog live together somewhere high enough to merge into the sky. The place resembles the planet B-617 where the Little Prince lives with the rose. It is where time flies slowly and isolated from the other. There lives a little deaf boy who lost his family in the past. The lonely boy spends most of his time with his dog, Dawn and waits for his father to come home. As time goes, he misses his father more and more. The boy eventually goes down chasing after the model airplane that his father made for him. He pedals down the rooftops through the blizzard. Where he arrives, he finds the wreck of his father’s plane. By the time he comes back, he is no longer a boy. 

Characters Kiki: Deaf boy who lives with Dawn at the top of the world where only wind can reach. Dawn: A fat golden retriever. He always winds up the phonograph for the boy.
