On Top of the World

Sometimes things go smoothly and you feel on top of the world
Other times life is messy and you want to crawl in a hole and die

However what one will find is that facing the messy can be rewarding
Wipe your nose and your eyes that was a good cry

To get things to go smoothly again you need to get to work
You cannot accept defeat you have to at least try

Find that fire inside, the one that makes you sing
Gather all the strength you have and fly

You see the messy was not that messy after all
Everything is smooth again neat like a tie

Yeah sometimes you feel like you want to curl in a ball and die
But with a good cry, a little try away you will fly and you will find yourself on top of the world
