The Three Sets of People in Life

Hello Steemians, today I want to tell you a few things I have come to understand about life. We all want to make it big and become really successful in life, but not everyone of us is willing to take the risk.

In life, we have three sets people;

1. Pioneers
2. Settlers
3. Museum Keepers

Let me explain.

The Museum Keepers are people who had lived a great life, they have journeyed through the path of success and they have enjoyed it in a bit. But as they came to find out that success isn't a destination, but a continuous journey. They encountered a few obstacles and they failed, now they are not willing to try again, so they live in the past. They will always tell you of past glories, and they have placed a limit on how successful one can actually be. They are the kind of people who have the mindset that since they fail at a task, nobody else can succeed at such task, hence they tend to discourage anyone who seeks their opinions about it.

Then we have the Settlers, these are the patient dogs, the set of people that are too careful, they are the ones that believe in what will be will be adage. They are also called the caretakers, they don't believe in taking risks, they don't aspire for great things, they are just satisfied with living a simple life. They are the set of people that if they ever get a business idea, all they will focus on are the risks involved, they are always pessimistic, they will give you 101 reasons why its risky to start something. Tell them about a popular venture, they will tell you that the market is too competitive and as such the venture won't survive. Tell them about a new venture, and they will telk you its risky to start something nobody has ventured, and its because it won't be successful that's why nobody is doing it.

Then we have the Pioneers. This are the risk takers, the ones that don't give up even after 100 fails. They are zealous to start new things, as they always seek new paths and always challenging the status quo. They are the type that gets up after every fall, more determined than they were before. The Pioneers are always doing new things, looking for a new way of doing things that have long existed. The Pioneers are the leaders of the world, as they are fearless in the pursuit of their dreams.

So the question is, where do you belong? Are you a museum keeper, a settler or a pioneer. Well I don't know how to give up, and even when there's no other way, I create my own path. I am a Pioneer, I hope you are too, and amI also intend using steemit to promote the spirit of Pioneering in my generation.
